"Odd Axles" Maine Eastern FL9s and a GP9 head eastbound on the Whippany Branch to be placed onto a storage track.
At the time of this photograph this was a Conrail commuter train. It was steam heated and used old streamliner coaches. The FL9 was painted in New York MTA's blue and white scheme.

Amtrak FL9 486 leads westbound train #63, the "Maple Leaf," along the Hudson River past Pollepel Island and Bannerman's Castle.
