On a very dull evening, 8F no. 48151 crosses the magnificent Batty Moss viaduct at Ribblehead with the returning Waverley railtour from Carlisle to York.

Saltley loco depot has now closed. Back in 1992, however, we find 6 class 47s, a 31, a 37, 3 class 58s and a 153 sprinter. Sprinter units were not normal visitors, this one was for crew training.
