EM 735-72 (a coal fired 0-10-0) makes a short service stop at Glebovitchy in front of the Dzherelo hotel train.

YeA 2026 makes a short break at the Mikoolitchin station to take water and service the locomotive.

SO17 number 4371 (2-10-0) and ER 790-33 (0-10-0) are hauling an oil tanker train between Grechany and Larga. Both locomotives are oil fired.

The FD20 number 2714 (2-10-2) and the SO17 number 3146 (2-10-0) are leaving Khristinovka with a freight train.

The railway line between Rachov and Yaremcha in the Carpathian mountains is at my opinion the most scenic one in Ukraine. To travel on that line was the highlight of a railway tour to this country... (more)

The Dzherelo train is double headed by the YeA and SU classes.

An American steam locomotive in Ukraine. The YeA class engines have been built by Alco and Baldwin between 1944 and 1947. They were nicknamed "Amerikanskii" in the former Soviet Union.
