WOW!!! UP 844 and SP 4449 double head on a steam special heading south towards Edmonds. It was a very good day.

An empty grain train gets lots of attention in Edmonds from all the railfans waiting for the steam locomotives. And there again in my shot, wearing the gray, is Steve De Vight, messing it all up.

The railfans already begin to line up to wait for the double header steam, but for now, we're happily distracted with the Cascades running a few minutes late.

SP 4449 puts on a HELL of show for the 100+ railfans along Sunset Ave in Edmonds. Nothing better than warm weather and double headed steam!

A classic SD40-2 rolls south though Edmonds. Such a nice day to greet this railfan after so long without trains. I felt spoiled.
