Corsicana TX was the service stop of the day. 3985 turned south and headed to Hearne TX for the overnight stay on her way to Super Bowl events in Houston.

3985 was running about an hour and a half late leaving Kansas City headed for Coffeyville Kansas.

The sun was just barely coming up over the horizion and it hit 3985 so it turned the entire locomotive golden in color.

In retrospect to MILW 261, Union Pacific's Challenger is the sole power on a Westbound steam special, going from Boone Iowa to Fremont Nebraska.
