A former BN SD40 hustles MRL's large wrecker from Laurel up the east slope of Bozeman Pass, likely headed to a derailment as this was the only thing moving.

Best known for their SD45s, MRL operated a number of SD45-2s including this former Clinchfield unit leading a helper set on the point of a BN train at West Livingston.

A 3-unit helper set with relatively new 4404 leads MRL's local 841 and its two GP35s back to Livingston.

A number of these army vehicles were on the head end of this BNSF (MRL) westbound exiting the tunnel at the summit of Bozeman Pass.
