This was probably the Pennyroyal train waiting to head on toward Charleston.

Just a little modification of the original Family Lines paint job.

Nee L&N, may have a -2 package but can't tell from this side. Check out those neat stencil lines.

Ex-L&N, apparently very late in the series (note the beads on the air duct), but apparently not yet rebuilt with -2.

Units stored had a oil barrell cut in half placed over the stacks. Not a bad way to do it.

No doubt about the bloodlines of this one. CRRs version of the model had extended range dynamic brakes whereas the SCL units did not, if you don't have the nice lettering.

This "Pennyroyal" coal train would enter the uncontrolled (at the time) connecting track and continue south on the old SAL Charleston line toward Dillon.

It was unusual for a coal train to be lined into the yard. Most went on thru the station. For some reason this extra was going to be sent to the Williams yard.

Evidently someone saw fit to put the old SCL number on the air duct.

Fueled, inspected and ready to go units were placed in the field for a call. This nee-CRR unit has had it's Family Lines lettering painted out and will soon get CSX.
