Arguably. Hudson NY was one of the best places to catch running meets on the north end of the Hudson Line.

Things you don't see anymore -- a turbo set and an FL9 share the shop tracks at Amtrak's facility in Rensselaer. The shop serves Amtrak's Empire Service trains along the Hudson and to points west.

Amtrak's westbound "Pennsylvanian" is about to start its ascent over the Alleghenies after making its Altoona Station stop.
