A hit of Fall is around!
A train of empty aluminum coal gons heading to the coal mines of southwestern PA has departed PPL's Montour Power Plant, some 3 miles to the east.
3 SD60Is still in Conrail paint lead an empty PP&L coal train at the Route 53 overpass in Cresson.
Just about any train that transcends the Horseshoe curve will draw some views, and this westbound hopper train is no exception, most however, are probably unaware of the rare bird leading the way.... (more)
