Today the Union Pacific Steam Crew did a test run of Big Boy UP 4014 (4-8-8-4) so that they could turn the engine around at Speer and get ready to head east towards Omaha on Wednesday.

The iconic 70 year old water tower at Speer, Wyoming has been torn down. It provided a great scenic element to many photos over the years, including when UP 4014 was doing a test run in 2021.
