NS 221 rumbles up track 2 while preparing to diverge into track 1 just behind me.
NS 212 hurries through the plant as NS 221 and 203 are headed Southbound and are a few miles to the North of Mt. Airy at the time of this shot.
I have yet to understand what this little fella had on his mind. Because within seconds there was 18 axles and 12,000 horses of locomotive power on top of him as NS 153 cleared Mt. Airy.

I had just arrived to set up for NS 212 when I caught 172 blowing his horn in Cornelia. So I rushed and was able to shoot a few shots of NS 172 scooting by CP Mount Airy.

Due to the batteries going out in my scanner I do not know the ID for this train but am pretty sure that NS 153 is the one on track 1 in the distance.
