CN 2409 rolls across Stephenson Street on a nice October night.

IC 6032 has just been dropped off by M33891-08, and is now sitting in Wallace Yard. This unit should become the Freeport switch engine, AKA the FURBALL.

IC 2715 is the lead unit on M338, and GTW 4929, the FURBALL (Freeport-Rockford Switcher) power sits silently. The M338 engineer is going toward the yard office to get some paper work.

In the warm morning glow, GTW 4929 is going down track that sees very little use, which is evident by the weeds growing around the rail. Usually, they only use it for MOW cars.

IC 9636 leads a CN ballast train under the Hwy 26 overpass. One of the section guys can be seen hanging on to the engine. They will start laying ballast in about 1/4 mile when they reach East Jct.... (more)

BLE 909 is on very foreign land. Also, this was a pretty bright lashup.
