A long intermodal crests the grade at 3,100 ft rolling through Erie. This was the last train of my out west adventure thanks to the wife having to teach out here one more time.

The I-SCOP with 8400 feet after working Valley and a crew change charges out of Vegas through Arden.

What was described as a monster train, 8400 ft of intermodal making up the I-SCOP, storms upgrade out of Arden.

A hot Z winds through Apex heading eastward. The three times I saw this train, this was the only time I saw it with a solid UP lashup.

My last day in Vegas I wanted to try out some new angles in Apex, here the morning Z hustles into the curves with actually a pure UP lashup this time.

What appears to be a high priority intermodal crests the grade at Erie westbound. Yet another train with NS power thrown in, one of NS's newer SD70ACe's.

There was a fair amount of NS power on UP's intermodal trains they turned up a few times on this Z one of them performing DPU duties.

A late running Z hustles through Sloan with the 7 dispatcher asking "You guys gonna make Vegas?" They did. Lots of NS power on today's trains.

A nice set of 40's works Arden yard this morning. The new Cactus Ave bridge is an excellent place to watch the the action, a nice safe sidewalk, friendly locals and great views of the UP.

UP had a fleet of SD40's working around Vegas in local jobs, this one is shoving a cut of cars into Valley after working an industry off of Donavan Ave.

An eastbound "B" train (baretable) twists through Sloan. Here in Vegas a few trains made regular appearances including this one.
