In this beautiful morning Virginia perspective, N&W J Class 611 sweeps through an s curve just west of Webster on the former N&W Blue Ridge District.

After ascending N&W's Blue Ridge grade, N&W J-Class 4-8-4 No. 611 passes the interlocking at Webster on the final leg of its roundtrip public excursion from Roanoke to Lynchburg and return.

Putting on a magnificent show climbing up and out of Roanoke on the NS Blue Ridge District, N&W J Class Steam Locomotive 611 splits the N&W CPL's at Webster, Virginia on a dead head move.
