In what has to be one of if not the best consists of the year, one of only three remaining Canadian Pacific SD90/43mac's #9142 leads train 125 south through Dalton, Ga.

An unexpected surprise showed up leading a monstrous stack train in Mableton. The color seen plying the Eastern railroads has certainly not slacked off at all, as evidenced by this train.

NS 8100 leads NS 251 through Seney, GA on October 26th, 2014. This is the 14th heritage unit I've caught in the lead position.
After battling traffic through Mableton to Austell Jordan and I manage to pull in right as 348 pulls around to the split for the North District.
NS 175 puts on a show in the extreme evening backlighting as it struggles to climb Braswell Mountain with a heavy train in tow. The train would meet NS 348 at Finch two miles up the grade.
NS 251 finally rolls south at Braswell after meeting 4 northbounds with a pair of Gevos, one being the NKP heritage unit. The Southern signals are still going strong here.
NS 50A comes blasting through Berwin before slowing down for a speed restriction. It was an interesting attempt at trying to catch this guy.
