On their first daylight run over the James River, the NS F-units lead the Augusta OCS North from Lynchburg.

The NS Kentucky Derby train is returning east as it crosses the R.J.Corman/Ohio Central at CP Mace. This is where the PRR Ft Wayne line and the B&O CL&W line crossed.

NS 955 passes through Manville NJ on its way to Croxton for an up coming Executive trip. The 4271 has been completed and is making its maiden run in the A-B-A lash up.

Basking in some sweet afternoon light in Juniata, NS 4271 get a few more minutes of rest before making her first trip as part of the NS OCS.

NS 4271 prepares for her maiden trip over the Middle Division by backing into the shed to pull out the train to go to Croxton. The second B unit was left off for this trip.

The NS OCS train passes a set of helpers on the return trip from the US Open golf tournament in Oakmont, PA. Thanks to Tony Kimmel for the heads-up on this.

NS was all about looking elegant while at the U.S. Open at Oakmont. A crew member turned on the lights for the evening which was a nice addition for the trains last night in town.
