Two eras meet at Saratoga Springs as a P42 passes a D&H-vintage signal mast at the north end of the platform.

With TrainFestival over, we return to you to your regularly-scheduled railfanning. Here the northbound "Adirondack" pulls into Hudson, about 40 minutes late.

What photos from this area don't convey is the fact that there's a chocolate factory around the corner that permeates the whole neighborhood with the scent of molten chocolate.
