Memories of winter. After the first storm of the 2017-2018 season, train 406 rumbles by Passekeag, New Brunswick.

After it's crew change at Moncton, New Brunswick, VIA 15 continues on, passing over a somewhat quiet Vaughan Harvey Blvd.

Making it's station stop at Moncton, New Brunswick, VIA 15 gets fueled up, as well as gets a crew change, before continuing it's trip up to Northern New Brunswick.

With the sun a few hours away from setting, train 406 is eastbound, passing the farms and corn fields of Southern New Brunswick.

CN 2570 leads a short 406, with about 2,000 feet in tow, and a wave from the friendly MJR.

With a wave from Big J, train 407 heads by the VIA Rail station, passing the CN Moncton sign, while a sliver of sun decided to peek down onto the head end, just in time.

A few sunset colors in the clouds start to appear, as cowl 2431 leads 406, approaching Apohaqui, New Brunswick.

Nearing sunset, the sun dips below the clouds just enough to light up the sky and scene, as train 406 heads along the countryside, at Norton, New Brunswick.

Running a few hours later than normal, train 406 heads by the unnamed lake, about an hour from sunset. The lake was nearly crystal clear, which obviously makes the shot that much better.
