Four K-36 class engines rest in various states of readiness. Their numbers are 480, 482, 486, and 481.

While turning the engine, much of the vapor in the lower part of the image is coming from the turntable's motor.

I had already been to cascade earlier this morning. it started snowing pretty good from hermosa on up. it was a beautiful day to be on the rails!
