The Whiting Job makes its way through the industrial area of East Chicago with a very rare Illinois Central SW14 in charge.

As sunset nears on April Fool's Day, a veteran Illinois Central switcher lets out some smoke as it leads the Whiting Local through East Chicago, IN.

After a mainly cloudy day, the skies opened up nicely in the late evening as Illinois Central SD70 1015 shoved hard at the rear of a lengthy train of double stacks.

Having no problem maintaining track speed, IC 1033 passes the local elevator in Ashkum.

A classic Illinois Central SD70 leads southbound train M336 through Manteno at every bit of 60 MPH.

IC 1033 sits tight in Frankfort, waiting on some westbound traffic to pass.

Making good speed up the hill, M336 approaches Gougar Road with its nice IC leader.

After making a setout, M336 advances up to the Rock with an Illinois Central SD70 leading the way.
