Freshly painted SD40M-2 5494 and 5493 lead 521 out of E. Binghamton. Both SD40M-2s are former Denver & Rio Grande Western SD45s and were rebuilt by MK. The 5494 has since been retired.
Three SP units make up the Beaumont Hill helper set.
SP SD40-2M 8652 leads an eastbound stack as it charges up Beaumont Hill and the San Timoteo Canyon.
