4 units lead a hot eastbound near the Natural crossover at Frost.

Getting there. Not quite the soon-to-be standard van power of a quartet of GP40s, this train, most likely Mail 9, has a GP38-2 in the third slot as it take a run at Horseshoe Curve.

Train is about five miles as the crow flies from the photographer. One can see about the same distance down line the other direction as well. No such thing as one "sneaking up on you" in this neck... (more)
