Sitting in the dead line. It will not be scrapped but turned into a slug for Conrail numbered 1102 classed as MT-6 rebuilt 8/78.

You can see the old faded NYC stripe showing through on 1847. This train is passing by a abandon PRR yard called Kinsman I believe.

Conrail came into being on April 1 1976. Here we are in May and it sure looks like nothing has changed for the Penn Central.
