Looking for an evening thunderstorm over North Conway...!
Railfan's Weekend - In a shot that could be dated for the late 40's, B&M 4266 pulls a string of passenger cars out for the Conway Scenic's Notch train.
Her work for the day done, 0-6-0 7470 steams past the well-known front end of FP9A 6516 on her way to the roundhouse for a well-deserved rest.
After a successful trip through Crawford Notch and back, Conway Scenic 0-6-0 7470 leads the train tender-first past the unique station in North Conway.
There are two ways to get this shot: Either hope it happens when the big GE is fired up, or have a perfectly placed steam locomotive in the background. Thanks to 0-6-0 7470 for the steam cloud.
