"Coast Starlight" stopped short of the overpass. Apparently, someone had pulled the emergency brake causing the train to stop shortly after leaving the station.
NB Coast Starlight eases off the Steel Bridge, into the Union Station. P42DC #114 has some fairly new nose damage, and a replaced numberboard.
Stopped at a gate on Highway 118 turned around in my seat and there it was--luck in action.
