And another '143. These trains usually do local runs with no or few service agents onboard. Therefore the train driver has to check if the doors are free before closing them.
This kind of train is nowadays mostly used for regional trains.
Note all the reflections on this train. You can see half the station in it! This is a very clean train. I also quite like the effect the sun has on the back of the pic. (dis?)Advantage of partiall... (more)
A nice mix of old and new colour carriages.
Pulling one of the newer train sets. If you ask me, this model train sets looks ugly. Especially the drivers cabin on the set (posted seperately) looks wrong.
Some of you lads may recognise this model of trains, as it is also used in Canada
This is a driver cab on a unmotorized trainset. It has a seperate loc (series 143) to push/pull it to its destination.
One of the new locomotives pulling a national train.
Pulled by a locomotive from series 146. This is one of the newer models, and I think it looks bad. Just my opinion.
A nice collection of colours on the carriages. Today I have seen carriages that looked like they came straight from the 40's! The DB has some old (looking) material!
An old locomotive pulling an new(-ish) locomotive. The old locomotive is STILL in old colours!
