It was time for the fog to clear, as I arrived before 7am here and this was the first train I could shoot after 10am. It is EN 415: Salzburg to Beograd sleeper. Sevnica castle hides over the fog.

Passengers are waking up as Kyiv-Pasazhyrskyi - Rakhiv sleeper twists up in Prut valley in heavy shower. Next major stop is thermal/ski resort Vorokhta.

Train #606 leaves the last stop before the summit on Yablunytskyj Pass enroute for Rakhiv. The overcast made it a bit too dark (it arrived well after 10PM local time) to short but I love the mood.

Slovenske železnice organised a charter for railfans heading to the annual depo-day at Mürzzuschlag. You see them traveling back to Ljubljana late in the afternoon:
