Lapeer Industrial Railroad's 44 tonner #5 sits waiting for it's next assignment. It is at rest with the Lapeer grain silo towering over the locomotive.

A C40-8M and a CN SD60F lead this westbound on main #1 through Durand. This train is about to hit the Durand diamonds. Then meet a eastbound around control point Vernon.

A CN westbound train leaves Durand on its way to Lansing. This train had to stop the 10,000 feet behind the locomotives at Bancroft to wait for a eastbound that was lined onto main 1.

A westbound empty coal train is pulled by a BNSF ES44AC and a BNSF SD70MAC.

Train L500, the Flint transfer, stops on the diamonds while the conductor throws some switches back to normal. This locomotive was a ex. GTW and seems to have been repainted fairly recentally.

After completing work at Durand, this CN westbound with old and rare power throttles up as it heads west.
