This photo was taken prior to the elevation of the Lake St. El through Oak Park, alongside the CNW right of way, seen above. Construction of the elevated was underway at the time.
A west bound freight train kicked this east-bound Metra to the middle track. I ended up directing commuters who got confused by the change over to the south platform.
