Snow-melt has churned up the tributaries of the Flathead River so no alpine blue colour to the water unfortunately.

Headed West, The Empire Builder, now a BN train, has stopped at the West Glacier Depot. SDP40 9856 is leading a mostly blue train--toward the rear are two California Zephyr cars.
The BN logo still proudly displayed, BNSF 7849 puts on a show for some rafters while it speeds off the west side of Marias Pass.
