The six packs arrive at the dock and unload at the dock at Taconite Harbor. Before long, they will be heading back to Hoyt Lakes with the empties.

The 7AM tac. job drags down the hill to the dock at Taconite Harbor in the cuts at Zeke. The sound of brakes setting & squealing was deafening!

The 7AM tac. job nears Hwy. 1 at Murphy City for a trip to the dock at Taconite Harbor. Even back then, it was a special treat to see the '6 packs' of solid F's leading the moves.

A plow extra opens the LTVSMC mainline for the last time in March of 2001. The plant closed that year and the last ore train under the LTVSMC banner ran in July.
