Our whole train is seen as we curve around what westerners call the little village here (not seen) happy valley. We are still a few miles from the summit and east bound.

We are riding in a caboose behind two steam engines on an all coal train. The Ji-Tong like the Norfork & Westen burns what it hauls. In this case all Antrasite.

At dawn' at -10F degrees, the Chinese Santa Fe type(QJ Class) engines are redied for both east and west bound trains. Deban is now the world largest steam shed remaining in the world.
