The setting sun illuminates the mountain above Rockville Bridge as the Three Rivers heads west.

Curiously, this three engine consist, with the FURX 7246 SD40-2 leading, went a quarter of a way across the bridge, stopped, then reversed and was gone. I later saw them arrive at Enola yard.

This is the eastbound Pennsylvanian at 5:52 P.M. yesterday. The interior lights from the passenger coaches cast a shimmering glow on the Susquehanna River below. Thirty second exposure at f11.
