NS local slowly starts up the spur towards the Purina plant to do some switching on this very foggy December morning

Local led by GP38-2 & GP15-1 struggle to get their 20+ car train up the hill past a recently plowed field. Normally this train is a push-pull with 3-7 cars. Today they need both engines pulling

NS GP38-2 5270 is framed by the old Cumberland Valley RR Washington Street station. The station is owned by the Mechanicsburg Museum Assoc, and has been cosmeticaly restored

These two covered hoppers are "bound" to stay together...until the switch crew "tears" them apart.
