Texas & Pacific 610 is being very well cared for at the Texas State Railroad Museum in Palestine Texas. It's stored under cover and only brought out when weather is favorable.
Corsicana TX was the service stop of the day. 3985 turned south and headed to Hearne TX for the overnight stay on her way to Super Bowl events in Houston.
3985 was running about an hour and a half late leaving Kansas City headed for Coffeyville Kansas.
The sun was just barely coming up over the horizion and it hit 3985 so it turned the entire locomotive golden in color.
