After being beaten up, this former Conrail GP38-2 will not be operating on the 2003 Conrail Browns yard Santa Train. You can see the CSX power decked out for the holiday train in the background.

Conrail transfer job JR-2 is nearing the end of its run at Browns Yard. The catenary poles are a reminder of the PRR electrification on this route which was originally the Camden & Amboy RR.

The 2005 Santa train has just departed Browns Yard and is en route to Freehold. The locomotive formerly was CR 8077 (under Conrail) and PC 8077 (under the Penn Central).
