The daily Plymouth to Chocowinity turn has almost reached its destination after emerging from the pine forests of the Coastal Plain to cross the Pamlico River on the old-NS mainline.

In a scene befitting a downhome Southern shortline, everything leans one way or the other...the train, phone poles, buildings, everything.
