A double headed mixed train hauled by the two Baldwin locomotives #16 and #4 has almost reached the station of Nahuel Pan on its way to El Maiten.

Heading north from El Maiten the Esquel line crosses the Rio Chubut. The river is the border between the Chubut and the Rio Negro provinces.

The steam train and the crowd of approximately fifty photographers running around in the station was the big attraction of the day for the local population.
In the Cerro Mesa gorge.
Baldwin #3 hauling a short freight train has just entered a canyon formed by a branch of the Rio Chico. This part of the Trochita narrow gauge line of certainly the most scenic one.
On the Cerro Mesa main road, an old Ford pickup has to wait until the Baldwin #3 has cleared the way.
