LS&I 2301 has finished weighing its train and is notching it out as it crosses Morgan Trestle in July of 1987. The yard at Eagle Mills is less than a mile away.

A nice juxtaposition. 7 Yard/Hill with modern day LS&I power backs down to their train as the 7 Tilden with old school LS&I power heads light to Tilden.

LS&I 2501 leads an ore train into the Lower Yard in Marquette, MI in May of 1986. A cloud of brake dust surrounds the ancient ore cars due to the steep descent from Eagle Mills.

A layer of fog hangs over the woods of the Upper Peninsula with the chug of veteran U30C's filling the air as they climbing up grade to Eagle Mills Junction.
