Forgotten, but not gone... Two junk yard survivors sit in the field across from the KRM. L&N #2152, an 0-8-0 was later renumbered 285 and then eventually sold to Republic Steel Corporation.

L&N Pacific 152 simmers outside of KRM's engine house on this Labor Day weekend. She'll get her fire built back up in the morning for another day full of excusions.

Now owned by Seaboard System this unit has some far escaped the vengeful spray can or frayed brush bent on erasing any trace of the Old Reliable.
