MNNR's weekly sand train for the BNSF passes Jackson Street in St Paul on the way to Dayton's Bluff, where the train will be interchanged and forwarded to Texas.

AMTK 156 substitutes for the MILW 261 which is currently getting overhauled in Minneapolis. The train looked sharp with a solid set of MILW cars behind the locomotive.

In a series of westbounds on the BNSF St. Paul Sub., BNSF 4327 passes Union Junction where a cut-off track connects this subdivision with the BNSF Midway Sub./MNNR Midway Yard.

Five units bring 14000 tons down the hill at Westminster during light rain. The past sand trains typically used four units but today's had MNNR 71 third out making it five.

As the Saint Paul skyline looks on, three SD9043MACs lead a UP train across the Robert Street lift bridge, with the "Great River" providing a nice reflection.
