A short 202 ran today out of New Smyrna Beach. Catching a GP38-2 leading on a mainline train here, or anywhere really these days is quite rare. Throwback to the 1980's when this was common.
FEC 439, FEC 438, and FEC 434 lead the northbound train 202 through the Palm Bay siding. It wasn't too often that a solid set of GP40-2s would be the power on a FEC train, so it was a real treat ... (more)
