A single SD60 leads a work train of welded rail west through Kirkwood Junction. That the line is in need of work is evidenced by the wavy track in the foreground.

This rebuilt SD40-2 along with HLCX 8153 (ex-BN) and freshly-painted GCFX 3066 speed a manifest south towards Evansville along the straight stretch of track between Fort Branch and Haubstadt.

7686, UP SD40-2 #3149, and BNSF C44-9W #5421 lead a mixed freight up and over the Ohio river, southbound.

Both 7532 and SD40-2 #8151 smoke it up as they lead a mixed manifest up the approach to the bridge over the Ohio into Henderson, KY.

Passing the Princeton depot, 9601 brings a loaded coal drag off of the NS onto the CSX northbound at sunrise.

A rare sight - SOO 6014 with Ex-Conrail 6042 (now CSX 7496) lead a loaded coal train along the outside track of Howell Yard.

1100 prepares to shuffle some cuts of cars about Howell.

Q515-27 waits in the siding for a fresh crew and for clearance south on the single-track mainline as several northbounds pass, including this consist of SIGECO hoppers led by CSX 713.
