After being on the property almost a year, these two GP's are finally in a nice spot together. Considering the amount of snow, those plows seem to be a bit of overkill in Chicago!

One of the neatest switchers I've ever seen, Border Steel SW14 1442, former IC 1442, fresh from the Dixmoor paint booth sits outside the shops waiting to be interchanged to the CSXT.

An old Chessie GP40 relocated toward the front of the shops, sits among debris awaiting it's rebuild date. This particular unit will get a second chance at life operating as BNSF GP38-2 2020.

ex NS 2760 and ex SP GP9 3789 sit among random sets of wheels awaiting their demsie.

ARR 2804 and Florida Rock Ind. Inc. HM8200 sit stored on the "ready track," the HM8200 being ready for shipment.

CN/GTW 5815 is one of many units on hand today at NRE, including GTW 5817, NREX SW1500 2531, GP10 113, and Alaska Railroad 3004, 2801, and 2804 (not pictured).

This SW has recently received a fresh coat of paint from the folks at NRE and goes about switching on the property.
