1218 is eastbound at Pearisburg, VA in route from Bluefield to Roanoke with a coal train.

1218 has just exited the 213 ft long Point Tunnel. This is the first of many tunnels she will pass through as she climbs the famous Southern Loops to Asheville, NC.
