BNSF grain empties traverse the scenic Columbia River Gorge returning east on a scorching summer morning.

One of the many westbound Grainer's,crosses the causeway that separates the Columbia River from Horsethief Lake. The landscape becomes dryer as you travel farther east on the Columbia River.
