A one-car local heads west through Kearny. The large amount of power is needed as the local will be returning with cars for the San Manuel railroad in addition to the CBRY's normal loads.

Another empty CBRY ore train heads back west through Kearny, Az. on a hot and sunny September afternoon with the recently repainted 501 in charge.
