I took the day off for this consist, the last Soo Line unit I photographed leading a train (so far).
I don't use the word epic much, but it applies to this consist rolling through the North Georgia Piedmont.

SOO Line SD60 no. 6033 leads Norfolk Southern train #175 through the crossovers at 'Jac Mac' and will then cross the Chattahoochee River and enter Atlanta city limits.
CP 234 with SOO 6033 leading a pair of SD40-2s and a GE unit cross the Grand River.
One of the very few remaining SOO SD60's is just part of the colorful lashup on this NS #175 bound for Macon,GA. This was a consist well worth playing hookey for.
This year is shaping out to be pretty damn good!
After making an unplanned stop in Aragon, #175 is back on the move with a rare SOO SD60 on the point.
This lashup was a real nice treat. An untouched SOO SD60 leads an ICE SD40-2, NS C40-9 & CSX C40-8W over Braswell Mountain just west of Dallas,GA.
