A westbound Modoc Line train passes the distant signal protecting the diamond with BN. These were the only signals on the Modoc between Klamath Falls and Wendel.

As a westbound pig train glides downhill on the main, 6823 East creeps up the siding toward the east switch.

With the remnants of fallen brothers strewn about it's feet, 6823 awaits the decision that will seal it's fate
