Soo 704,404,401 trundle through the yard limits at Trout Lake with 57 cars, including many CP 40' newsprint boxcars. I'm not sure how much longer these 40 foot boxes lasted but they were soon gone... (more)
Soo 704,4424,2552 race west near Blenker with hotshot 943. Catching 943 without SD40's by this date was certainly not a common event.
Soo 704,705 pull a short #909 into the siding at Gilchrist to wait out a meet with #910. Back to back fairly clean, consecutively numbered GP30's were probably not a common sight anywhere in 1985.
